5623 Determining Income

Net monthly self-employment income from boarders is determined by:

a)Adding together all direct payments to the household by the boarders, then

b)Subtracting the allowable costs of doing business.

The result of this computation is then added to all other earned income prior to performing the computations required to determine net monthly food stamp income.
