The Division of Aging and Adult Services is the agency designated by the Governor of Arkansas and the Arkansas State Legislature to be the focal point for all matters concerning older Arkansans.

Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) are the regional non-profit agencies that plan, coordinate, and advocate for the development of services to meet the needs of older Arkansans.

Local service providers are governmental or non-profit organizations responsible for the delivery of services to older Arkansans.

The Adult Protective Services Unit (APS) of the Division of Aging and Adult Services responds to more than 1,600 referrals per year on adults who are endangered. APS provides emergency intervention and protection to adults statewide. Reports may be made to the 24-hour hotline by calling 1-800-482-8049.

The Network provides a comprehensive and coordinated statewide community-based system of social and nutritional support services for the elderly. These services include:
