heitml for Designers and HTML users

As an HTML User you no doubt value the time you spent learning how to create and format Web Documents. By now you are familiar with HTML's strengths and weaknesses, and have probably heard about many tools that help you to avoid HTML altogether. WYSIWYG editors, converters, etc., are just a few of the popular topics being reported in the press these days.

But heitml is completely different. heitml doesn't treat you like an idiot, nor does it require you to change the way you work, or give up the skills you have come to rely on. Instead, heitml builds on the strong points of HTML and adds features that enable you to create a complete and complex variety of exciting applications, including those that access or interact with information stored in databases, that dynamically react to User input, or simply take advantage of specific features of particular Browsers.

With heitml, Web Applications that formerly required you to involve yourself with the ugly syntax of CGI Scripting Languages now become a snap to create. heitml provides you with a large number of powerful and familiar HTML-style Tags you can use in virtually any application imaginable. Whether you desire to build dynamic Web Pages that change content based on who accesses a page, the time of day, or any other criteria you select, heitml provides the means to get the job done with a minimum of fuss. You can build database applications like guestbooks, registration databases, search indexes, or shopping applications. In short, anything you desire becomes possible, all without having to abandon the HTML syntax that has proven to be so familiar and dependable.

You probably already have many ideas in mind to improve your Web Site, some of which would normally require extensive programming. In many cases heitml enables you to complete these tasks without programming. Using the heitml Built-in or Library Tags you can create complex, dynamic pages that draw information from or update a Database simply by creating a form or table and inserting Tags that describe how the application reacts to the data fields. And, for those cases where programming is required, heitml provides the power and capablility of a full-featured programming language. Whether you want to create new Tags and Libraries on your own, or take advantage of those provided by third-party developers, heitml gives you the flexibility to choose.

heitml is especially useful when it comes to the design and maintenance of well-structured Web Sites. If you have ever created or maintained a big Web Site before, you know what a hassle it can be to insure the integrity of your Pages. heitml provides you with methods of designing reusable layouts or templates that simplify the structure of your Site, thus making it easier to keep track of links, without resorting to a lot of tedious and repetitive hand-coding.
