The ISAPI interface is a high speed interface of the IIS 2.0/3.0, IIS 4.0 and Website 2.x Web Servers and should be preferred.

All you need to do is to install the ISAPI version of heitml after installing the ISAPI compliant Web server. The heitml setup program will take care of everything else.

Since ISAPI compliant Web servers are multi-threaded, you should use a thread-safe ODBC driver for database access. If your ODBC driver is not thread-safe, switch on the dbserialize configuration option.
