Supported Platforms

UNIX Generic version

General

This version allows you to recompile the database drivers if new versions of a database system require this. You can also use it to extend heitml by more built-in functions implemented in C and by new database drivers to access other database systems.

The generic version contains all the database drivers in source code. You can compile one of them and link it to heitml or write your own database driver.

The generic version also contains a module in source code, which demonstrates how to write your own built-in functions.
