For a parent with a mental health need, proper medication is crucial to functioning at a level that enables them to care for their children appropriately. The resources below are for Patient Assistance Programs for various medications. In most cases, the physician's office has to send in the request. Some physicians are more open to doing this than others, but if you can give the office secretary the form for a patient, maybe they will be more likely to help someone out.
